Gloria was born on January 2, 1924 in Maquoketa, Iowa,
daughter of William A. and Thelma B. (Wilson) Eye.
She graduated from Maquoketa High School.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Clinton Engines in
Maquoketa for 29 years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and
Sacred Heart Guild. She loved traveling, sewing, making jellies,
and playing euchre.

Gloria is survived by one daughter, Janet Koontz of Maquoketa;
3 sons, Neil Howell of Keithsburg, Illinois, Barry Gibson and
Larry Gibson, both of Elwood;
10 grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Catherine Eye,
and her longtime companion, Al Kramer.

Gloria T. Gibson, 85, of Maquoketa, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009,
at ManorCare Health Services in Dubuque, following a brief illness.
