Marcellene Mary Feller was born May 11, 1926 in Bellevue, Iowa,
daughter of Leo and Frances (Michels) Feller.
She attended Jackson County rural schools and graduated from
Maquoketa High School. She married Ruby Etringer in Cheyenne,
Wyoming in 1943. He died on May 10, 1987.
Marcellene was a homemaker and had worked at Maquoketa Care Center
as a care giver for several years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa.
She loved quilting, canning, gardening and making jelly.
She was a volunteer with Scenic Valley Railroad in Boone.

Marcellene is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia (Lyle) Schmidt of Spragueville
and Lori Hass of Simpsonville, Kentucky;
3 sons, David Etringer of Maquoketa, Dennis (Nancy) Etringer of Boone,
and Robert (Joy) Etringer of Maquoketa;
20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren;
and one sister, Vermilda Leckband of Preston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one brother,
Orville Feller.

Marcellene M. Etringer, 83, of Boone, and formerly of Maquoketa, died
Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque.
