Marilyn was born January 28, 1933, in Maquoketa, Iowa,
the only child born to James and Grace (Koranda) Dolak. The family
resided in Maquoketa until Marilyn's father died when she was six years old. Following her father's death, Marilyn and her mother moved to the
Quad Cities, where her mother obtained employment.
Marilyn attended Davenport Central High School in Davenport, Iowa.
In 1980, Marilyn and her mother returned to the Maquoketa area.
After her mother could no longer care for Marilyn, she became a
resident of Andrew Jackson Care and later made her home at
Crestridge Nursing Home.
There are no immediate survivors.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

at Crestridge Nursing Home, Maquoketa.

Private Graveside Services and Burial will be held at
Mt. Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa.
