Lois Kathryn Hoffman was born July 24, 1941, in Jackson County, Iowa,
daughter of Joseph and Leola (Herrig) Hoffmann. She graduated from
Charlotte High School. She married Rae J. McClimon on August 6, 1960,
at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Sugar Creek, Iowa.

Lois is survived by her husband, Rae McClimon of Delmar;
7 children, Edward (Andrea) McClimon of Delmar;
Kathleen (& Fiancé Jeff Vincent) of Cedar Rapids,
Michael McClimon of Des Moines,
Bradley McClimon of Park View,
Shawn (Jill) McClimon of Gilbert, Arizona,
Troy (Christine) McClimon of Bettendorf, and
Theresa McClimon of Clinton;
11 grandchildren;
and siblings, Verna Powell of Delmar, Phyllis Berthal of Bellevue,
LaVonne Tillis of Pearl City, Illinois, Shirley (Kenneth) Green of Forreston, Illinois,
Joseph (Doris) Hoffmann and Gerald (Marilyn) Hoffmann of Charlotte,
Janice (Jerome) Burken of Elvira, & Connie (Julius) Kuberski of Stockton, Illinois;
and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lois K. McClimon, 68, of Delmar, died Monday evening, October 26, 2009,
at her home. Lois went to her eternal reward surrounded by her family
and friends.
