Donald Lee Moore was born January 8, 1931, in Maquoketa, Iowa,
to Edith Mae Moore and Charles Carlyle Johnson.
He graduated from Maquoketa High School in 1949.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean and
Vietnam Wars. He retired from the Air Force after serving 20 years.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa.

Donald is survived by 2 sisters, Jacqueline Johnson of Dubuque,
and Deb (Tom) Schiek of Springfield, Illinois;
one brother, Tom Johnson of Ames, Iowa;
and a niece, Samantha Schiek of Springfield, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Donald L. Moore, 79, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died Sunday, March 7, 2010,
at Jackson County Regional Health Center, Maquoketa, Iowa.
