Jessie E. Taylor was born March 15, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa,
to Andrew Guy and Stella (Mentzer) Taylor. She graduated from
Central City High School in 1962. She married Robert Lee Brown
on March 7, 1964. He died on October 30, 1994.
Jessie worked at Communication Data Services in Tipton, retiring
due to her health in 2003.
She liked going to garage sales, gardening, fishing, search word puzzles,
and bingo.

Jessie is survived by four children, Bobby (Sandra Holmes) Brown of Mt. Vernon,
Sandra Brown of Olin, Patty (Paul) Oberbreckling of Anamosa,
and Buddy (Terri Miller) Brown of Washington;
5 grandchildren;
two sisters, Zelda (Bill) Huster of Caulfield, Missouri, and
Edith (Ken) Werling of Amber; &
one brother, Ray (Clara) Taylor of Central City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister.
